As far as wlw ships involving Rachel go, this is my least favorite. But definitely a good friendship. Their interactions in the fanfic I have read is mixed. Brittberry- While a friendship in fanfiction does work for these two, a relationship would not. But also in my head, I think Rachel would be overwhelmed and yet also very satisfied with any sexual encounters with Brittany. I have no other reason to put this at this point in my list.
Tinchel- Another one that just sounds really good. I wish the friendship between these two was more developed. But they would be very cute together. Pezberry- ughhh…. The sexual tension between these two is delicious. Enemies to friends to lovers on a level only exceeded by Faberry. Santana and Rachel are rather excellent partners for each other in that they know how each other in terms of strengths and weaknesses.
Neither has been cut more deeply by anyone except each other. Also, they definitely fucked during that Christmas episode. We ALL know it. Their friendship in S4 is amazing and it was so heartbreakingly ruined in season 5. The power this duo had. Their enemies to friends to lovers arc is amazing.
Fanfiction has turned these two into an amazing pairing that balances each other out. Rachel is more selfless and nurturing with Quinn, and Quinn is more expressive and honest. I love them.
Smut with them is second to none as well. Just incredible. I am on my usual GLEE bullshit and decided to give my own personal rankings and thoughts on ships involving Ms. Rachel Berry. Samchel- This was a relationship that was shoehorned into Season 6 for whatever reason. If this had been a relationship during their McKinley days then I would have been honestly more on board with this pairing.
Berry- Speaking of a relationship shoehorned into S6, these two getting together did not make a lot of sense. Again, musical chemistry is off the charts credit that to Lea and Jonathan and their long-standing professional and personal friendship but they were too similar to ever truly work together. Finchel- Yes I know this was supposed to be the endgame. Yes there are certain moments these two share that are sweet. But honestly? This pairing sucks. It just sucks. Where do I begin? His only knock?
Dude should have let on about the work he was doing and been honest about it. This could have allowed a mature discussion instead of the manwhore -shaming and the smack down that occurred. This was the best one? Puck and Rachel?? They were lovely together if rather short-lived. Their friendship in fanfics is fantastic btw. Rachcedes- Honestly these two would be too heated at each other for a relationship to work.

I am one of the Gleeks who falls into the category of Puckleberry shipper. I was originally going to say that Puckleberry shippers are a minority, but based on the amount of fanfiction shipping those two on fanfiction. However, I believe Puckleberry is the ultimate couple, and not for reasons that people would think, being that Rachel and Puck are two of my top three favorite characters in the show. Think of it like math, two negative numbers multiplied together will cancel out to make a positive number.
Finchel — Finn is the cool guy. When he gets roped into Glee club he meets Rachel and falls for her. Puck breaks that image of the normal jock who dates the least popular girl in school. Sadly, Puckleberry only lasted for one episode in season one, but their short time together will never be forgotten by those of us who immediately fell in love with this pairing and continues to ship them in our hearts as the true Glee power couple.
Now for the question, has there ever been a couple you rooted for, but were not the canon pairing? And it boggles my mind sometimes that people can be Rachel fans and actively root against her happiness. But to say you ship Rachel and happiness…Rachel has said explicitly that nothing and no one makes her happier than Finn. And as for Finn? He trusts her completely. He allows himself to be nothing but exactly who he is with her and she embraces that completely. He fears her.
Scary Quinn. Because no one had been as proud to date her than Finn did to want to do that. I ship them because he can see a future with her. I ship them because when she sings, he can feel it. He appreciates her talent.
