Helped me decide. Had useful details. Kid, 11 years old August 8, Miley for some reason acts like her life is horrible yet she would be the most fortunate people in the world. Teen, 16 years old Written by Chloe. It is not inappropriate Hannah Montana is not a horrible and inappropriate show. I am now 16 years old I started watching Hannah Montana when I was little.
I grew up with Hannah Montana. Miley is not a snob, she is a teenager going through life, knowing how many people judge you on you're appearance. Some people think that Hannah Montana is a horrible show because Miley Cyrus is in it.
I personally think that it is a horrible idea to say that the show is horrible based on who is in it. Miley or Hannah has to figure out how to solve it. When you were young did you ever want to watch a show but you're parents didn't allow you because they deemed it "inappropriate"? If so, you know the feeling you got when they said no.
You might have been extremely upset because everyone was talking about it, and saying how it was their favorite show. You probably remember that feeling you got in your throats trying not to cry when you heard the answer was no. I think that you should let your kids watch the show, if it really is a bad and horrible show, and they see how upset you are to see that they are watching it chances are they will stop watching it.
Hannah Montana is not an " inappropriate " show. Teen, 13 years old Written by Philosoraptor July 19, Funny, cheesy, but not for younger kids This show was literally my childhood I didn't watch it when it first originally came out , but I tuned in later. The reason I don't recommend it for younger kids is not because it's inappropriate although every Disney show slips in a few innuendos here and there, when Jackson said his hand could be his friend , but because young kids are like sponges, and will pick up the rude, sarcastic behavior.
The sarcasm was strong, the parenting was bad sorry Billy Ray. Young kids 9 and under will, without realizing, imitate behaviors they see in the media thank goodness twerking wasn't a big thing when I was little. It's a funny show I recommend for kids ages , because at 13, I realize how bad the acting was they weren't really as country as they implied , and how unrealistic it was people would still recognize me with blonde hair, and seriously, Miley's eye brows stayed the same.
I thought it was a cool concept, and more kid friendly than the edgy shows now Bunk'd slips in at least 1 innuendo each episode. Read my mind. Written by Anonymous January 10, Disgrace to Society This show is pure garbage. Who even watched this show? She sings like a whiny brat and everyone in this show is annoying. Also this show makes fun of diabetes. I don't have diabetes but it's terrible that Disney would do that. This title contains: Consumerism.
Kid, 12 years old December 1, Your typical Disney Channel sitcom. Typical of Disney. Lame plots, stupid characters, crappy acting, and has a school setting. Disney, stop making cliche teen girl sitcoms! Yours, Goatworlds. Kid, 10 years old August 7, Girls 6 and up will be obsessed with this show!
Teen, 16 years old Written by Lizabeth48 June 4, I watched this like 4 years ago and it was great! I love lily Truscott and Jackson. The kissing is fine it's just normal. Watch it with a younger sibling! Teen, 14 years old Written by icecreamdoggie April 30, Crap Load Usually I rate games, but this is garbage!
Come on, Hannah in this show is so spoiled! Kid, 11 years old February 25, Goodbye to All That. Jo Hale Getty Images. Cyrus said she took a break from the show once she turned 18 because it "felt ridiculous. Cyrus backstage at the VMAs. Larry Busacca Getty Images. Despite her somewhat sordid career ups and downs, Cyrus is still incredibly popular with millions of followers across all her social media platforms. She continues producing hit songs and acting in interesting project. She fears she could wind up becoming a bad influence on them. This is somewhat ironic given the real Miley's reputation for being a party girl.
She took on a distinctive, edgy, persona after ditching her Disney days and gave some infamous performances without many clothes and beyond. While Miley has never been involved in a serious scandal and more or less just gives in to a party girl image, it's still kind of funny to consider the way real life mirrored this show plot. Miley and Lily's friendship on the series is the essential heart of the show.
Lily has been there for Miley since the very beginning and even gets her own alter ego in the form of Hannah's assistant. Despite their fights, at the end of the day they could always depend on each other.
In fact, many fans even shipped the two together romantically and considering Miley is open about not being straight in real life Well, who knows? Miley recently starred in an episode of Black Mirror where she played a pop star named Ashley O.
Ashley's character is forcibly used by her aunt to become the "perfect" money-earner. Miley has been vocal about how she was intrigued in doing this episode because of how it reflects some of the real situations she went through with Disney. It's not news that Disney is very controlling about the image and perception of their stars.
Young actors for the company are put under great amounts of pressure to perform in certain ways. Even if you didn't like Hannah Montana, the show and film had a stunning array of guest stars. From Dolly Parton to Tyra Banks to The Rock and beyond, the show had an eccentric array of guest stars, some of them with a great deal of fame who you might not expect to be on a Disney Channel series.
